Falcons down Dolphins 16-10.

Baseball analogies don’t usually crossover into football stories except in the case of the Tennessee Titans 24-17 come from behind win over the Atlanta Falcons in the third preseason game of 2014. The Titans got a homerun on a 63 yard touchdown pass at the end of the second quarter and two triples in the second half to erase a 14 point deficit.

Falcons Prep for Bengals Scrimmage

Training camp is tedious and hot. Because it is summer there's not much that can be done about the heat. Falcons Head Coach Mike Smith will give the Dirty Birds a break from the tedium on Monday by calling up good friend and fellow head coach Marvin Lewis of the Cincinnati Bengals.

"It will look like a normal Falcons practice in terms of the pacing and what we will do," said Coach Smith. "We will just be doing it on two fields. The offense will be on one field and the defense will be on the other."

The scrimmage with the Bengals will take place on Monday (full pads) and Tuesday(shells only) at the Falcons practice facility in Flowery Branch at 3:00 pm each day.
